This is a very protected, north-facing pocket beach on the inlet at the north end of Hoboken, immediately beneath one of the condo towers there. Because it doesn't face the open Hudson and thus is protected from big ferry wakes, it seems a relatively safe place to leave a boat--at least for a while.
